Refrigerant Gas Recovery and Reclamation in Japan
Although the recovery of refrigerant gas is not required by national law in Japan, both government and industry have devoted a great deal of effort in recent years to addressing the problem of refrigerant waste through state-of-the-art technological development and the creation of a reclamation infrastructure. Putting to work decades of experience in the field of refrigeration, Mihama Corporation recently joined this effort with the establishment of its "Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Disposal Service". This service brings refrigerant users and treatment professionals together in a nationwide network designed to facilitate the economical and environmentally sound management of used CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, and lithium bromide. Mihama is active in all aspects of the recovery chain, from the supply of cylinders to the recovery of valuable by-products. We welcome information on products and services that will contribute to our efforts in this important area.
